Why Do I Need To Book?
Our BBQ/Rec areas have been designed for all residents to be able to enjoy at any time to relax and escape the day-to-day stresses of everyday life.
However, if you are entertaining and/or wish to use the BBQ facilities, a booking is required.
Firstly, we need to ensure that we don’t face a situation where 2 residents have organised events at the same time, and both wish to use the space.
It is also important as part of our care-taking responsibilities that we check the areas for cleaning and damages, and are able to ensure the space is clean and presentable for the time of your booking. By making a booking in advance, we will attend site to check the space, clean and tidy if required, to ensure you are ready to entertain at the time of your booking.
Some complexes also run off gas bottles, opposed to mains gas. To avoid theft/damage, these are not stored within the BBQ and need to be set up and connected prior to use. If you fail to make a booking, the BBQ will likely not be operational, which could cause disappointment.
